Ad Creatives

Q1: What's the difference between Creative View and Ad View?

Creative View groups and deduplicates the same creative. If the same creative runs across multiple media platforms, it is displayed only once. This view is ideal for quickly browsing and researching creatives.

Ad View displays ads by Ad ID without deduplication. Use this view when you need to analyze creatives for a specific media platform, region, or promoted product.

If you only want to view creatives running on Facebook or Google, switch to Ad View. In Creative View, filtering by a specific media platform may also return grouped creatives that have run on that platform.

Q2: Why doesn't the annual ad count equal the sum of quarterly ad counts?

Because the same ad may run across multiple quarters.

For example, if an ad runs throughout the entire year, it is counted as 1 ad in the annual statistics but may be counted 4 times in the quarterly statistics—once in each quarter.

Therefore, the sum of quarterly ad counts may be higher than the annual ad count. This is expected behavior.

Q3: Why are "Ads by Media Platform" and "Ads Count" different?

These two metrics use different counting methods.

Ads by Media Platform (Count/Share): An ad can be counted multiple times if it runs across multiple media platforms. For example, an ad running on Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger is counted once for each platform.

Ads Count: The total number of unique ads after deduplication. The same ad is counted only once.

Q4: How to identify top-performing creatives?

From the creative view, it's recommended to sort by the number of related ads and similar products. For certain industries, where creative copying is common, the more advertisers use a creative, the better its performance.

Sort by Related Ads: understand which creatives are repeatedly used across multiple ad campaigns, indicating potential for reworking. These creatives typically perform consistently well and are valuable in actual campaigns.

Sort by Impressions: find the creatives with the widest reach and highest impressions. These usually have good conversion rates and high user reach, making them suitable for primary campaigns.

Sort by Similar Creatives: understand whether a certain type of creative is currently trending. The more similar creatives there are, the more it indicates that this creative direction has been continuously iterated and optimized.

Q5: How can I hide unwanted creatives or advertisers?

Click the Hide (eye) icon on any creative card to hide:

• A specific creative; or
• All creatives from a specific advertiser.

Hidden creatives will be added to the Blocklist. To restore them, open the Blocklist, select the items you want to restore, and click Restore.

The Blocklist currently does not apply to Creative Picks. Support for this section will be added in a future update.

AI Clip

Q6: How do I use AI Clip Recreation? What are the requirements and limitations?

AI Clip Recreation generates new creative content based on reference video clips.

Before using the feature, make sure your reference videos meet the following requirements:

• Format: MP4 or MOV
• Resolution: 480p or 720p
• Duration: 2–15 seconds per video
• Reference videos: Up to 3 videos, with a combined duration of no more than 15 seconds
• Aspect ratio: 0.4–2.5
• Pixel count: 409,600–927,408 pixels (for example, 640 × 640 meets the minimum pixel requirement)

If you see "Reference clip resolution is too low", select a higher-resolution video.

Other limitations:

• Currently, only high-frequency clips can be selected as reference clips. Free video uploads are not supported yet and are under development.
• The output duration can be customized, but the maximum duration supported by the model is 15 seconds.
• For better results, we recommend adding the following instruction to your prompt: "Keep the actions and scenes exactly the same as the reference clip. Do not modify them."

AI Clip Recreation consumes AI Points. Each plan includes a certain number of AI Points. Additional AI Points must be purchased after the included quota is used up.

AI Clip Recreation currently delivers better results with live-action content featuring real people.

Q7: Which AI model does AI Clip Recreation use?

AI Clip Recreation uses a hybrid AI model architecture rather than relying on a single AI model.

Different AI models have different strengths in areas such as text-to-video, image-to-video, and video-to-video generation. To provide better results, AppGrowing combines multiple models based on different tasks.

For example, user prompts may first be analyzed and optimized using a language model, after which the appropriate generation model is used to create the video.

We will continue to integrate and optimize different AI models as new capabilities become available, including text-to-video generation.

AI Clip Recreation is powered by a combination of AI models and does not rely on a single third-party model.

AI Analysis

Q8: What's the difference among three modes of AI Analysis?

Agentic Exploration Mode is "AI finds creatives + analyzes them for you." You just describe your needs, and AI handles search and analysis end-to-end — ideal when you're not sure what to analyze or want a broad market overview.

Inspiration Mode is "you share the direction, AI thinks with you." It's ideal when you have a rough strategic direction but haven't figured out the execution. AI analyzes competitor creatives first, then uses guided questioning to help you clarify needs and refine strategy.

Targeted Analysis Mode is "you find creatives, AI analyzes them" — ideal when you already have specific creatives in mind and need a precise, deep breakdown.

Recommended: Use Agentic Exploration to discover directions, Inspiration Mode to refine strategy, then Targeted Analysis to deep-dive.

Q9: Can I skip the guided questions in Inspiration Mode?

Yes. If you don't have an answer to a particular question, you can tell AI "not sure yet" or "skip," and AI will continue the analysis based on the information already provided.

However, we recommend answering key questions (such as target audience and product differentiators) as thoroughly as possible, as they directly impact the precision of strategy recommendations.

Q10: What are the requirements to use the Skill?

The Skill is only available to AppGrowing AI Plus and AI Pro plan users. You need to obtain an API Key from Personal Center → Overview and configure it as the environment variable YOUCLOUD_API_KEY in your AI agent.

Q11: Which AI agent platforms does the Skill support?

The Skill uses the universal SKILL.md format and is compatible with any AI agent platform that supports Skill import, including but not limited to Codex, Claude, OpenClaw, and other mainstream platforms.

Please refer to each platform's Skill import documentation for specific installation instructions.
